Humus
What are the ingredients?
Can of chick peas
5-6 Tablespoons tahini or to your taste
3 cloves garlic
2-3 tablespoons lemon juice
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
5 tablespoons water
How is the humus prepared?
The recipe is super simple to make. With just 5 minutes of prep, 7 basic ingredients transform into delicious homemade hummus. It’s lusciously smooth, with a bright lemon flavor and a little kick from garlic.
Dry the cooked chickpeas well and add to jug. Add the rest of the ingredients and blitz with hand blender. Transfer to serving bowl and eat.
You can experiment adding different ingredients- I like to add a jar of roasted red peppers, dried well before blitzing with everything, and it’s delicious with Liz’s sourdough bread- toasted or not.
